I can't even watch it anymore. I've never seen such one-sided, stir-the-pot, witch hunting reporting and commentary as I've seen on this station. For a minute I thought I was watching Al Jazheera (sp?). Whether one is for or against the war, this station is the most Anti-American, anti-Bush, unpatriotic news station I've ever had the displeasure to watch.

I never watch CNN, but I'm almost tempted to turn it on to see what's going on. I usually flip between MSNBC and FOX news. FOX news just had a report about the dolphins that are helping us. :)

I stick with Fox News. CNN is too over-the-top for me with every aspect of this thing. I have never found that CNN ever reported anything without a partisan leaning. I want news when I turn on the news, not information slanted by someone's personal opinions/beliefs.

Are they the ones that are calling the President, MR. Bush?
I thought I had heard one of the stations say that. I could be mistaken, tho...

That is precisely why I watch FOX news. It isn't just CNN, it's also ABC, NBC and CBS. They all drive me nuts.

If you read my replies, you know I agree whole-heartedly! I wonder what this will do for the future of news reporting? Any media is market-driven. Will the ratings continue high so that the advertising space will be bought? If we quit watching, advertisers will quit buying, and the way the news is reported will be changed. If we all watch Fox News, advertisers will flock to them, and the other news programs will be forced to change. Vote with your remote!

MAY GOD BLESS AND PROTECT OUR TROOPS!

I watch Fox also. I can't stand CNN and haven't been able to stomach it for quite some time.

We never watch CNN.. never.. Fox News for us.. unbiased and honest reporting.. We refer to CNN as the Communist News Network;) :)

I had CNN programed in my remote as one of my favorites with Fox and MSNBC. Its gone now, DH confirmed it was CNN that called our President, MR. Bush instead of PRESIDENT Bush. I think there is somethingwrong with that. I wont be watching a channel that outright disrespects the commander-in-chief.

I'm sorry, but FOX is just as bad as the rest of them.

I stopped watching CNN when they "speculated" on only one uncofirmed report several days ago that all of the United States POW's had been executed. All I could think of was the horror that these soldiers parents were feeling because of this "unconfirmed" report!

Also several days ago, ABC's Pentagon journalist was commenting on the briefing by the Generals. He said that the General was being vague on some things that were going on, but this is what HE thinks is going on!!!

I remember the days that journalists were never even allowed to use the words "speculate" or "I think" except on the editorial pages.

FOX does it's fair share of speculating too. Well I swore off them months ago, so in all fairness I can't comment on their war reporting. I'd be shocked if they changed however.

I agree with you, Teresa. I've been watching less of CNN these days!

I don't watch any of the 25 hour news channels. Too sensational for me.

FOX News and MSNBC (occassionally) is my best bet. I have not watched CNN since 2000 elections.

I also refuse to watch 60 minutes and Dan Rather - too biased for my taste. I do however, have an admiration for Tom Brokaw.

I stopped watching CNN after Sept. 11th. They're second banana in the cable news ratings, so I don't think I'm alone.

Olena,
I am with you there...I stopped watching CNN after 9-11 when they started the "maybe there is a reason we deserved this attack" innuendo/slant...They aren't just 'second banana', they aren't even all that close:

I watch FOX...and it seems the majority (at least in AOLs recent poll) agree:

Which TV network has the best news coverage?

52% Fox- 29,446
21% CNN- 11,939
14% MSNBC 8,138
6% ABC- 3,396
4% NBC- 2,559
3% CBS- 1,556

total votes- 57,034

Fox must be doing something right...:)

My tolerance level for CNN has grown increasingly thread-bare. I mostly watch FOX, but if I'm flipping over to another one, it's usually MSNBC.
