Is anyone else a little sad about going to work tomorrow?

Hooray,
It Monday morning and
Off to work I go. :yay:

As I look around at my friends and family members who are unemployed and can't find jobs, I'm thrilled about going to work today.

Yes, I am not really forward to work after a long, busy (but fun!) weekend. Three more weeks until Christmas break and a trip to DLR! :yay:

I agree with what others have said about being thankful for having a secure job. :)

Sad and TIRED.

Most of the weekend was so relaxing I thought it might go on forever....then I decided to take DS6 on a "quick" trip to Disneyland yesterday.

4 hours each way plus 10 hours in the park makes for a rough Monday.

It is doubly sad for me and my family as we were supposed to be at WDW today. :( I re-injured myself last week (broken rib) the day we first arrived at MK and we had to cut our vacation short and come home early. I felt so bad for my wife and kids but they were the ones suggesting we leave so I could enjoy WDW and that shows how truly blessed I am with such a loving family. :grouphug: We should have been checking into AKV today as we speak but I know it's not going anywhere and we are already planning a "mulligan" trip in February. :thumbsup2

I'm happy to be at work because it means I am one day closer to WDW!:cool1: And I made my ADRs for May and got all the places and times I wanted.

Sorry to hear about having to cancel. February is a nice time for a mulligan!
I'd rather be planning my trip than be at work today.

I understand that-and I was one of those unemployed folks back in July. I got a temp job in September and I think this company took Lee Cockerell's book and decided to do the exact opposite of everything he said. When one of the Directors dared to suggest that treating people better would result in a better work environment the response was "They are lucky to have these jobs and we don't have to treat them any better. They'll do what we say and like it or we'll replace 'em."

I'm grateful for the paycheck, and I'm trying my best to get something else-but that doesn't change the fact that I dread going in there every day.

I wasn't a little sad--I was downright bummed!
I felt better once I got there, though.
