I completely agree that this year's online game is terrible. It's sure quicker, but so BORING!!! I actually got a survey online to give my opinion on the game -- the very first time I logged on, before I had even played it! I didn't do the survey since I had no idea what the game was at that point -- what a waste.

Please excuse me, I read the first half of this thread right when it started, but someone had mentioned (I think it was this thread and not some other one) that they could only use 5 total of the MCRP -- no, you can only enter 5 each day, but if you don't redeem immediately, you can do more on another day. And I didn't realize this until yesterday, but in the rules for the MCRPs, it says taht these points have to be used by 12/30/10 or they disappear. Keep that in mind. I was hoping to save them to try to get Universal tix -- guess no!

There was a big discussion on another board about this. Originally Coke Rewards members were getting an error after entering 150 of the bonus points that said they had reached the max. number allowed. Last week it was changed and you can now enter more Monopoly MCR 30 pt. codes. People are reporting 750 is the new max. Not sure if that's still true or not because I can't win the silly things to save my life. (I have entered over 30 online codes and won only 2 times).

I was hoping to save them to try to get Universal tix -- guess no!

One year I went crazy... ate at McD's as often as possible, collecting codes.

I didn't win Sh!t.

Ive given up on their games.

I'm so mad at myself, I got breakfast one morning and won a free burger... yep lost the stupid piece. I've got a couple fries and a smoothie so far.

I've got a huge stack of codes to enter, but I forget to do it every day, so I hit my ten easily when I remember. Besides the free food pieces, I've only gotten 3 MCR codes. Which I guess I should toss out here. I don't know what I'd use it for.

A couple of complaints. OK, I don't know if I'm just weird or what, but don't you pull the pieces off as soon as they hand you your food?? Come on, I'm more interested in seeing if I got something free.
1st complaint - My aunt orders a combo, I pull the pieces off the fries. Hand the food to her, and she tells me to hang on. Her fries are cold, she wants fresh hot fries. When I tell the guy this, I hand him back the fries and he makes the comment "you pulled off the pieces??" Well duh, I did, and secondly what are you going to do keep them for yourself. All they're going to do is throw the food away and make fresh.
2nd complaint - Half the McD's I go to don't know how to keep the tea fresh. Yes, you let it sit there for more than 1/2 a day and it's going to be disgusting. Again, I always pull off the pieces, because they're only going to toss the cup. And per their rules, they're not allowed to play. I ordered two teas. One sweet, one half and half. The sweet tea was disgusting, but the other one was sorta ok, there was enough fresh unsweet that it made it taste alright. Well my grandmother wanted a refill and this time they used more of the sweet and she didn't like the taste of it. So I asked for a coke instead. If he listened to me the first time when I told him the tea was stale, it wouldn't have made the refill taste bad. This is also a "fancy upscale" McD's, the owner of the locations do not allow for self serve in the dining room. In which case, I'd dump the tea, rinse the cup and pour some coke.

Makes me wonder too, if there's only one boardwalk piece. How do they know it's going to get peeled off?? How many times do you see in the garbage bin unpeeled pieces or a container falls to the floor so they have to toss it??

I work at mcdonalds and we are not allowed to play or our family members arent either.

I read somewhere last year that even if you collect say all 4 railroads you are not a guaranteed winner. I think those people go into a drawing or something like that. There are more than just one of the winning pieces floating around out there.
The rare piece is alphabetically the last property in each group, except for Boardwalk, which is the last piece on the board.

My son works there and he's not allowed to play and neither are we He has a TON of pieces though....since he eats his meals there when he's working. He even won a 5.00 Walmart gift card.....not sure what to do with it though LOL maybe I can give it to a family member outside of the household.
