Is anyone at Disney, right now?

We leave in just a few days, and I'm just curious, what is the weather like today, yesterday? Is it hot and humid. I'll cope with whatever weather we get, of course, but I'm just curious. We have humid weather here at home most of the time, so I'm thinking I will be ok, but everyone keeps talking about how hot it is in Disney. We have had a lot of humidity here but the temps haven't actually been to bad. Thanks

I live 2 hours from Disney and let me tell you they're sweating their butts off. It's hot and humid. Right now it's 94 degrees. yuck!!!!!!!!

It is hot and humid. The high for toay in Orlando is 93. There is a chance of late afternoon thunderstorms.

My parents are at Universal today, and my mom sent me a text around 2 pm saying "I have no idea how you did this pregnant, it is soooooooo hot!" And we live in south Louisiana. It is just miserably hot already, and not looking to get any better! We are already hitting the low 90's.

When are you leaving? Weather says it's going to be 94 tomorrow and Monday but 89 on Wednesday through the rest of the week.

We've been here for the past week. It's been hot and humid (90-94) for the past couple of days. Before that, it was lovely and comfortable, with highs in the high 70s or low 80s. Regardless, we have a blast every day. The midday break becomes far more attractive on days like today, though!

You know, weather forecast are not always right, and I can always hope. I do know how to use my computer and thanks to my fellow arkansan to be the smarty pants of my replies, appreciate it. I would like just once to be able to ask a question without some kind of a sarcastic reply.

I understand that snippy replies aren't fun to read, but honestly - those who are there have no more idea what the weather is going to be like in the next few days than those who aren't there and look up the forecast.

It's the end of May in central Florida - the forecast is fairly consistent annually - warm (usually between 80-90), humid, and the chance of afternoon thunderstorms is always there. What it does specifically on any given day? That's where the forecast comes in. It could be 75 yesterday and 95 tomorrow.

Were you referring to me? I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to be sarcastic, I thought that link was hilarious when somebody showed it to me. It's so ingenious.

And I am originally from Arkansas, Southern Arkansas to be exact.

Just returned from Epcot. We only made it from Int'l Gateway to Germany - too hot, no shade and no cold Dasani. I had brought one of those water spritzer/fans and within 45 min it was spitting out hot water. World Showcase was relatively empty. Going to be hot and humid for the next week or so. Just drink alot of water, take lots of breaks, and try to go early in the morning. Have fun!

I knew it was gonna be hot, was just so hoping for not so humid, we have humid here and it is miserable, I hate humidity. Oh well, like I said, I will take what I get, can't take the kids out of school anymore.

It was hot today. I don't think it was quite as bad as sww last year, which were so unseasonably hot, but it is hot. It was 94-95 whenever I saw the temp. I'm sure it was hotter in the sun and parking lots and that kind of thing. It's hot.

I just left MK, a little warm but I don't think its that humid.

It's all subjective. We think it is great because we were here last July and were miserable. It was oppressive 24 hours a day. It got hot around 11-3 but you sweated and the clouds came out and it was fine. We have really enjoyed it and plan to go next May. Crowds have been moderate. Low crowds in the mornings until about 10:30 then around dinner it is good. I would go early, avoid the parks in the afternoons and go back in the evenings and it should be great! We are having a lot of fun! I don;t think it is very humid at all.

Here now! It is SOOOO hot. It was 95 yesterday (according to my weather app) and very humid. I usually handle the heat pretty well and DH loves it, but it was even too hot for us. There didn't seem to be any air movement. Combine that with crowds and well...WOW. Epcot area was much better than DHS---it must have been about 265 degrees in that park!

Looks like we are in for another day like that today, too!

i don't mean to be a wiseguy but what do people expect?? It IS FLorida...anything between May and October has the potential (and probability) to be unbearable. That's why I do Disney October-April....I went in May last year....never again.

I understand some are pretty locked into a vacation time....there are strategies for doing Disney in the heat. That's when we have 'vampire' vacations...sleep during the day...play early and late.

That's what we do. We go early, eat lunch around 12:30, go back to the resort, swim and rest, and then hit the parks again around 6. I went the end of May last year and it was really hot in the afternoons but pretty nice in the evening. One day there was a really bad thunderstorm around 3 pm but that night was the nicest night ever. I still remember sitting at Epcot thinking it was the absolute perfect temperature and such a beautiful night.
