Is an "I'm Celebrating!" button okay for this?

I graduated from college in May and for my graduation my parents are taking me to WDW. We are going next week because of summer grad classes I had to take this was the soonest we could go. Is it still alright to get an "I'm Celebrating!" button?

Yeah its fine. Heck, plenty of people at WDW have them just in the hopes of getting free stuff. You're actually celebrating something.

I plan on wearing one because I am celebrating becoming a National Board Certified Teacher so I say go for it and by the way . . . Congrats!

I think Disney said something like Celebrate Every Day, so if it's Thursday, or the 12th of the month, those are good enough reasons for Disney... Get yourself a pin or two.

Yep! In February, I celebrated getting my second Masters and getting tenure - one of which was 2 years after the fact and the other was about 9 months...we just hadn't done anything to celebrate yet.

Yeah, I'm thinking about doing this too. On our august trip we're definately celebrating my husband's graduation with his masters, and his new job. I want to 'celebrate' acceptance in the graudate program for computer science and the start of my master's program.

I've seen this topic crop up repeatedly on these boards, and I have to ask - why do people care so much?

Here's a standard response:

1. Celebrate whatever you want, it's your life!

2. Who cares what other people think about you?

They asked if i was celebrating anything when i made reservations and i said no but i think i might get a button saying I'm celebrating "moving to Florida" since I'll be moving down there about a month after our trip

Your parents could wear buttons, too. After all, they are celebrating your graduation as well.

They gave me an I'm Celebrating button for no reason other than I said I was escaping the snow this winter. They will give those buttons out for anything. There is no moral implication to wearing one. It's also extremely unlikely that you will get any "free stuff " for wearing one.
