Is an ADR at the Wave Necessary?

We're starting to think about ADRs for a trip in late September. I'd like to know what your thoughts are on if we need to make an ADR for either breakfast or an early dinner, say around 5 or 5:30, at the Wave. It seems to me that it wouldn't be any more crowded than the Grand Floridian Cafe, which we never have a problem getting seated at any time. Thanks!

Hi,

September is usually the peak of "free dining" time so even though the parks are not that busy, the restaurants are usually quite full.

I would suggest you make an ADR. ADRs are free and you can always cancel them if your plans change.

Thanks Bob, I didn't even think of the free dining part! I'll definitely make an ADR then!

We tried to get an adr for lunch on May 9th and nothing available. I think the word is out.

They open for dinner at 5:30.

They are only open for lunch from 12-2 (maybe 2:30).

The Wave is very busy...you can try getting in early but plan on an hour wait.
