Is America in WS the only one that has just a counter service restaurant?

I wish they had something more upscale represented there (although for those of us lucky enough to go to resort restaurants they definitely do:D ) It would just be nice to have something in WS (we are more than hamburgers and hotdogs). I guess some might say Garden Grill or the place at the Living Seas (yikes - I prefer my seafood fried:p ) represent America.

Maybe it's not necessary, but if you could add a restaurant in the America section, what would it be like?

I just think they didn't want to compete with the other restaurants from around the world.

But if they did have one, for us nostalgic people, I would suggest the old Howard Johnson restaurants that used to be on the highways. Remember the good old days when you actually sat down and had lunch or dinner when traveling:D

Maybe they already have that restaurant planned for Pop Century, 1960s section.:jester:

I think the most American sit-down restaurant is already in existence at MGM. 50's Prime Time. They serve fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf - very American homestyle foods.

Of course they could put in an American restaurant with all the international foods that we've gotten so good at "Americanizing". Like pizza and tacos. ;)

I agree- I think 50's Prime Time is already a good version of a sitdown American restaurant.

Conversely, is Italy the only WS pavilion that doesn't have fastfood? Too bad you can't get some pizza or a simple spaghetti bowl for $4-7. I know my kids would have LOVED that option at Epcot.

Canada doesn't have one. Unless you count the beaver tail stand:D

Good point, Alice28. Counter service in Italy would be a great idea.
