Is AKL pool slide closed?

I read on another post that someone just returned and the pool slide was closed the entire time they were there! Does anyone know how long it will be out of service? We are going next week and my DS will be very disappointed.

The slide was closed while we were there - we just returned Sunday night.

Did anyone give you any insight into when it would be open? We are staying there in Feb and I know that would be a big draw for my kids (I assume the pools are heated for year round swimming). Any ideas how I could find out?

I highly doubt that the slide will still be closed in February. Maintenance occurs frequently on all slides and should't be inoperable for more than a week or two unless there is an extensive problem.
