We are going in December and do not know if we should go Conciegre level or Savannah View.

Also, do you know the cost of Sunrise Safari?

Please help us decide.

Thank you.

You'll get a wide variety of opinions on this one! Basically, I wouldn't stay concierge for the food, although its great to stop in the lounge for a treat. The amount you eat probably won't make up for the increased price of the room. Stay for the itinerary pre-planning help you can get, and the opportunity to do the safaris. The sunrise safari was $49 when we did it last year. Was it worth it? You bet!

Sunrise Safari $49.99 per adult (over 10)
$24.99 per child (under 10)

Sunday or Thursday. Duration - 1 hour with Buffet Breakfast at Tusker House.

Oh, that buffet at Tuskers! YUM!!!!

We thought concierge was wonderful, but it isn't something we usually go for. We really wanted to do the Safari, and we wanted a suite, so concierge was part of that.

Lovely staff, good food, great breakfast (I mean the regular everyday offerings in the concierge lounge).

I heard that you can request an upgrade to concerge at check-in and that it is MUCH cheaper, if there are still rooms on that floor. Has anybody tried that?

Conciege is offering a new (newer) excursion: Wanyama - Sunset Safari with dinner (african presented). Sounds great.

The Conceige's office called me just after I made my ressie. They gave me some great advice and was able to assist me on all the things I wanted to do.

So far, well worth it!
