A drink is included...however, note that not ALL nonalcoholic drinks are included at all places. Some places have allowed smoothies, milkshakes, etc. while some only allow soft drinks.

Our experience has been mainly at TS restaurants:

The DDP includes a non-alcoholic fountain drink - typically soda, coffee, tea or lemonade. At some of the Disney owned places we've also had milkshakes, smoothies (generally no refills), virgin cocktails and pressed pot coffee.

Not included are the drinks with light up decorations and non-alcoholic beverages such as bottled sparkling water and specialty sodas (e.g aqua fresca in Italy).

At TS locations, the majority of the the non-alcoholic beverages that do not include some kind of souvenir are included with your TS credit.

AT CS locations, the majority of the fountain, coffee based and bottled/cartoned single serving non-alcoholic beverages are included with your CS credit. Note that this description does not include milkshakes. Frozen drinks like milkshakes do qualify as dessert options though.
