I had heard rumors about the regular membership card being good for discounts at certain places like Rain Forest Cafe. Is this true?

And if so is is good for any thing else.

I don't think so. But you could call the Rainforest Cafe and ask them...

But you can get 10% at Universal Studios restaurants and stores (at least most of them!)

I've got the AAA package booklet for Disneyland and it lists under member benefits "Show your Card & Save"**:
Save 10%*** on food and beverages and dine with Disney Characters at various locations throughout the Resort.
In fine print: **Show your Card & Save offers are available to all AAA/CAA members and are not part of AAA Vacations.
***Valid only at selected locations in the Resort during applicable times. Restaurant locations subject to closure/change. Designated restaurants, restaurant menu offerings and Character Dining are subject to change without notice. Restrictions apply.
Don't know if the same applies at WDW, but it looks like you only need the card to receive some discounts at DL!!!

Thanks for the ideas everyone! I knew the Package had special cards with it but I was fairly certain that a regular card would be good at something!

I will keep looking for more! Thanks! :cool1:

There are AAA discounts on tours too - I booked the Family Magic Tour and was told that you can get 15% off with AAA or 20% with a Disney Visa - we went with the 20% off :flower:

Just used mine to get a discount on the Segway tour at Epcot. Saved about $24.00!!

Thanks for mentioning this. I am an AAA member and we are going to DL this summer. I will look into any discounts that might be available to us! Thanks for the tip!.............P

DH thought the segway thing sounded like fun~! :cool1: So we just booked it! :rotfl: :Pinkbounc  :earseek:

I totally forgot when I made my reservations on Saturday for July 2005 trip to tell them I had AAA.

I called back about an hour ago & they changed my reservation to a AAA rate which saves us one night or about $350. I am excited.

I have used the AAA card for the Rainforest Cafe but that is about it.

Kerri

I was able to get 10% off lunch one Saturday afternoon at Bongo's with AAA.

Anne

I use my AAA card to break into other people hotel rooms and rearrange their furniture.... :rotfl2:
