Is a 24 hour MK day coming for leap year?

We went last May, and if had been just me, or me & DH, we would have done the whole 24 hours. But alas, kids.

As info, it was a LOT more crowded than I thought it would be.

I'm hoping they have it memorial day Friday - that would be awesome! - we will be in Disney that week and I have us in MK that day!

We stayed the whole time in 2014, but not last year.

So my theory is that if I hit the park during off hours and napped during peak hours, I'd have a quieter experience.... Attending early in the 24 hours then very late. Thoughts?

I did it last year. I was there at opening 6am and stayed until 2pm. Went to resort had an early dinner and went to bed at 4pm. Woke up at midnight and headed back to the park until the 6am close. I didn't have any issues with crowds doing it this way but I was also there solo and that helped a lot.

Yes - that is pretty much what we did, too. We hit the park at open (beautiful seeing the sun rise!) went until about 1:00, returned to hotel for nap, then back to the park around 6:30 (? Can't quite remember) for nighttime shows. It was CROWDED after the nighttime parade and fireworks - people coming in and leaving. The youngest was done at that point (unfortunately, the did not sleep well the night before), and DH took him back to the hotel. Crowds were better by 1:00-1:30, and my others were ready to crash. I was *so* tempted to go back to the park by myself, but decided against it in the end.

This will be our strategy if we attend another. The parks were awesome from opening until about 11 or noon, then it really started to get crowded. 2014 it really wasn't that bad, 2015 it was super crowded after noon until after the nighttime entertainment. I would go in the opening, go to another park around noon, then come back around midnight.
