I just came across threads about obstructed verandas, but do not understand which are and are not obstructed. Are all of the 'navigator's verandas' obstructed? Does anyone know if 7626 is one of the obstructed ones?

Thank you SO much for your help!!

7626 is a category 7 stateroom, otherwise called a navigator's veranda. This isn't a veranda, and it's definately not a balcony. It's an enclosed space with an open air porthole. If you really want a true veranda, you'll need to book a category 6 or higher. Go to www.castawayclub.com and click on staterooms. They have pictures of the navigator's veranda there.

Hi! I also posted on your other thread. The 4 obstructed view verandahs are cat 7, which is what you have booked. They are actually more open than the regular cat 7s, so maybe you could switch to one for the same price! The numbers are 6134, 6634, 7120, 7620.

Here's a link to info on them:

And here is a link to pics of the regular cat 7s:

These cabins used to be cat 6 until a DISer wrote in complaining about the obstructed view. DCL reclassified the cabins as cat 7s!
