Is 7 day max new?

We have been doing these preselections for our 10 day trips since the new system started. We always go 10 days and this is the first time they told us 7 days is the max you can pre select rides. Is this new?

In the past month or two I've seen that reported. For longer visits, supposedly after you use the first day of Advanced Selections onsite you can reconnect and book another day.

We went from Oct 23 thru Nov 8, 2023.
We were only allowed to do 7 days, even though all the park days were within the 30 day to 2 day window.
We were told we could book the last days AFTER we had used the first day

No reason to wait until the end of your trip is in the 30 day window if you’re going over 7 days now, just do 7 (I don’t like to contact them multiple times so I make sure my last day is within the 30 day window).

So you have to use your first park selections and then contact them again to finish out the rest of your trip (if more than 7 days)? No thanks for that! I have better things to do than waiting through all that again!

Completed our renewal of DAS and ride selections on Wednesday. The DAS renewal was smooth. We signed on at 3:00 pm and were connected for a video chat at 3:30. The DAS was approved after a very brief discussion. The ride selection portion was more cumbersome than last April. They had a form to complete including date, park, time preference (Morning, Afternoon, Evening) and top 3 rides. The form only had the availability of 3 days. After completing the form, we were given 2-3 times for each attraction and instructed to pick 2. Then we had to complete a second form for the remaining 2 days. All days were within the 30 day window. The ride selection portion took around 50 minutes for the 5 days.
