Is $280 as low as it's going to go for June?

I have been checking prices now for over a month for our next June trip. USair, Delta and NW all have been showing apx this fare for flying Lansing (to Detroit) then to Orlando.

I'm thinking I better book pretty soon before they go up. I just don't see them going down?

I don't know historically what is a good fare for LAN - MCO, but normally you don't see the good sales until 2-3 months before your travel dates. I'm travelling in June also, and I am not even seriously looking for tickets until Feb. as the sales for those dates are not normally available this far out.

I usually book early, too. But this past end of May/first of June we'd planned to drive because the rates were so high. Then, three weeks before our trip the price dropped enough (still not cheap, but enough) that we decided to fly. I've never booked that late before. I don't know what a 'good rate' is from your area, but you do have time to wait.

$280 seems high. I would wait and keep checking airfares every day and sign up for fare watchers from every site you can.
