Is $259 for HH next August is good as it will get?

Need August 7 and 8 weekend but its $259, we are at WDW for 12 days and have AP but wanted to do US/HH for the weekend and FOTL. Is it likely to go down much at all by then? If not it looks like ALLSTARS again for $59 or so.

Just wait, it takes a while but if history repeats its self the rates will be cheaper. We went later in the month, 8/16, but ended up getting RPH for $129 for 3 nights, 4th night free and $159 for one weekend night. Only changed to this rate in July.

We were there August 6-7 this year. You're looking at the same weekend next year. That weekend was very crowded. We were Club Level at RPR and were told that every room was taken and the hotel pretty much booked solid. Everything changed on August 8 -- room prices dropped significantly. Those are the rates posted by markey. I overheard staff in the club room saying they couldn't wait 'til Monday (8/8) when things would slow way down.

So, the price may come down somewhat, but if you can go the next weekend, I bet you'll do better.

Just for comparison, we paid $259 per night at RPR Club Level for that weekend. That was an AP rate.

Thanks. I cant blame HRH if they are selling out. Heck get what you can I say. We just have to decide if FOTL is worth it or not. I really dont thinks its way of line for what you get, just not sure we are the client they are looking for since we love WDW and $59 AP for ALLSTARS is a big difference especially since we need 3 rooms and 2 nights. Wow thats $1200 more.

We are going these same dates in 2006. Did you book at a higher rate and change your booking (if so any penalties) and where did you find this great rate?

I originally booked in late May early June, can't remember for $159 AP rate. Then in July it changed to $129 weekday, $159 weekend with the 4th night free. So we paid $129 for Tues, Wed, and Thursday. The $159 Friday night was free and we paid $159 for Saturday. I called up and changed, adding the 5th night because it was cheaper to arrive late Tuesday night then to stay at the airport. There was no penelty to change.

That is one of the busiest weekends of the year.
You can probably get a better deal the 3rd or 4th week of August because kids are back in school.
Many people from these boards are staying at the RPR, it has become a fan favorite.
