That is a good price from Bellingham. The only way you'll get cheaper is from Seattle (and not much). West Jet and Aircanada sometimes have good seat sales from Vancouver, BUT with taxes and fees you still likely won't get under $275.

Just keep in mind that flying from Bellingham, you will have a connection to make in Seattle. Your flight will not be non-stop. This will make a 2 3/4 hour trip 4.5 hours or more. Really check your flights and make sure you have a good connection and not a 3 hour stop in Seattle:scared1:

The good thing about your plan is you get to fly into SNA which is much closer to Disneyland than LAX. From Vancouver you have to fly into LAX (unless you also connect somewhere of course)

Try doing a search on Kayak.com for your dates, from YVR, & Bellingham.
I fly out of SeaTac all the time to florida. I stay overnight at a hotel, either Marriott Towne Place Suites or Springhill in Renton or Kent area. Get good Entertainment rate, and they let you leave car free.

We just paid $220 pp US out of Buffalo, NY. Not as cheap as I've got it before, but much cheaper than flying out of Toronto. I know it's not Vancouver, but thought I would post my cost for you anyways.

I just booked us a flight out of Bellingham to Las Vegas on Alaska Air for August travel - $69 each way ($157 return). I had been checking the Alaska Air website daily, and the fare just changed after lunch from $120 one way to $69. :goodvibes

If you're satisfied with your $220 return airfare, then go for it! :thumbsup2
But if you think that you can do better, you can be a fare stalker like me and wait it out. Your travel dates are still quite a long time from now. Good luck!

thanks everyone. we caved and booked it. i was thinking that there is no way the price would go down further. and i was comfortable paying the 220,

cheers
