Is 2010 a good yr to visit the DLR

I was thinking of planning a 2010 trip but then i remembered that DCA is beind remodeled. So my question is would it still be a good time to go for someone who wants to see and do everything the DLR has to offer (or should wait till 2011) please help thank you

I think visiting in 2010 would be a great time to visit because it will be the 55th year celebration of DL. There should be plenty to do and see while you visit.

In terms of the DCA remodel, it will be ongoing and will not culminate until 2012 with Cars Land anyhow. I'd go in 2010 and consider another trip in 2012 when everything is done

Disney doesn't just shut everything down until all construction is complete. They make careful sure to do the expansion in phases, and particularly sure that they have everything that can, run during the peak summer season.

2010 will be the 55th Anniversary of Disneyland Park, and I'm sure we'll be doing quite a bit over there (apparently, we're getting a new parade, among other things) to more than make up for all the walls at DCA .

I agree with all answers here. DCA in particular will be a special place to visit in 2011 and 2012. But lots is happening there and at DL by 2010. I would not put off a visit.

DLR is never under so much refurb that I wouldn't go if given the opportunity. Just one of the many sacrifices we have to make for a bigger and better DCA is just a couple years of ugly construction walls, closed rides, and bodies of nonexistent water.

Well by sometime in 2010 the World of Color will be open. I think that's great and just in time for DL's 55th. I'm really excited for this anniversary. I know it won't be as extravagant as the 50th, but I'm still excited!

2010 will a be wonderful time to go! Go for it!
