We have an ADR for October 18, 2007 at 1900 Park Fare for dinner. I know that I read somewhere that the renovation would be done by then and the buffet would be back. Has anyone else heard any differently? TIA!

I had originally read that 1900 Park Fare was going to be closed until Oct. 2 and we were so bummed because that was when we leave to come home! But then I read on another site that they will be open a couple days earlier. I think 9/28. So I called Disney Dining and made a reservation for 10/1. They didn't say anything to me about it being closed at that time, so fingers crossed.

I spoke with Disney Dining tonight with a couple of other questions and when we were done she asked if I needed anything else. I asked about 1900 Park Fare and she said "everything was on schedule." We'll be at WDW OCt 20-27.

Did they say if it is going to go back to being a buffet for dinner?

We have an ADR for October 14. When I booked the ressie, I made a coment that our youngest (4) wanted to see "the mice".
The CM responded that the dinner has changed. He did not state if it was still a buffet style meal, but he did say that the characters have changed to Cinderella, her fairy Godmother and the evil step sisters.

I don't know if this helps you or not, however, I will be happy to chase down a WiFi spot and post our experience for you.

Thanks For your answer. We will be going in April and I need to make my ADR on Oct. 21. My DD will be turning 13 and she really wanted to dine with a princess and she would not like the plate service menu, she would much prefer a buffet. THANKS!!
