I see that SW offers tickets for $88 each way from my city (flying out of New Orleans) and was wondering if that is a good rate?? Last year I was lucky enough to get $39 each way - guess that won't happen again with the price of gas where it is right now!

Hi, This website was mentioned in another post and you may want to check it out! farereport.com I also booked with SWA for this summer it was $94.PVD to MCO and $113.MCO to PVD. We are paying about twice what it cost last summer to fly SWA. So I check each day to see if they have lowered my flights and I TRY to check DING 3x each day! Joan

I think anything under or around $200 round trip including fees and taxes is a decent price. If I recall correctly, the advertised prices for SW don't include those fees and taxes...

I, too, am checking all airline prices from New Orleans to Orlando, but haven't seen much of a decrease in prices since I started looking in February. Our trip is in 9 weeks (1st week of August), but I will continue to check all the airline prices until the day we are scheduled to pick up the rental minivan!

I don't think we'll be lucky enough to see a special for our vacation - even the cheapest $88 Southwest tickets are almost all gone! I can still dream, can't I? :wizard:

I know I have read this somewhere, but with "server busy" replies I can't find it. Does Southwest reimburse if the price falls and you rebook at the lesser rate? Please explain to me how that works - has anyone ever done this???
