Traveling Dec 8 - Dec 15. Don't normally travel to somewhere with as much price competition as Orlando so I do not have a feel for this price. Ideas?

$176RT from Dulles...

This is pretty good buy. We fly out of Dulles all the time. I got a Delta fare of $141.25 for my September trip. But so far, the best I have been able to do for our Christmas trip (12/20-12/26) is $209.

This morning the fare from Dulles was $165 (for my dates, 11/30-12/4) on USAir, nonstop. I'm still going to wait.

I find that to be the average price out of Dulles. BWI seems to have great deals, but deals out of Dulles are hard to find. I've not gotten my tickets for my Oct. visit yet. Delta is quoting $162 if you book through Delta and get the on-line discounts. My daughter and I both got vouchers on Delta and United this past spring when we had higher prices and the price dropped. I keep hoping for a deal myself and check travelocity and expedia several times a day.

Right now Southwest out of BWI for my dates is $149.50. Last year for early December there was a $99 RT Dulles to MCO. It was only posted for 2 hrs (early in the morning) on a day in September. I almost broke my fingers I was typing so fast! :) :) I don't expect that to happen again, but I do find that the rates historically have dropped in early Fall.
