In 2013 the wife and I will be married 15 years. I was thinking of surprising her with a vow renewal at WDW. Nothing too big, well under 20 people. Just wondering if 15 years is just too soon or not. Thoughts? Suggestions??
Thanks-
Rob

Go for it. Dh and I are doing our vr at 10years. We want our children to see and we've been through a lot in 10 years. My sisters will be down in 2011 with us so we figure it's the perfect time. I cant wait to start planning. Let us in on your details.

When we renew our vows in May we will have been married 11 years and 5 days :lmao: We were going to do it on our tenth anniversary, but had two kids at university (my DH is their stepfather but they call him Dad), so financially it was not the right time!!
I say, go for it!!! Whenever you feel ready to re-affirm your commitment to each other is the right time, whether it is after 1 year or 70!!!!
Good luck and keep us up to date with all your plans!!!

We're doing ours at 7 years!

I read somewhere that a couple goes back and does it on EVERY anniversary!:scared1:

We're planning on doing a VR at 10 years, but I'm also going back to graduate school, so we might have to put it off, but no, 15 years is not too soon! If you like, 1 year is not too soon!

I agree with the others - 15 years is definitely not too soon!! And I think that is a wonderful surprise for your wife, she is going to love it! Let us know what you end up doing!

Well I'm gonna go ahead and start saving for it. I'll have to go with the "escape" package. See we budget all of our money and have a place for ever dollar coming in and going out, so this might take some "embezzling" on my part, and looks like I'll be firing up my vinyl cutter and finding some stuff the go on eBay. I looked over the Disney wedding site, would really like to do it at the Italy pavilion, but not for the 12 large they are looking for. Next year I'll be scouting out the escape locations to see what I think would work.
thanks for all the feedback.
Rob.

Happy planning! We're doing a 5 yr VR, but we never had a wedding to begin with so maybe that makes a difference? I don't think 15 years is early at all!

We are also planning a WDW VR. We will be celebrating 17 yrs in August so I think at this point 20 will have to do for us. There was talk of waiting until 25, but I want to still look young enough in a wedding dress, so 3 more years for us. It is so romantic and sweet that you are planning it for your wife!!

I don't think its ever too soon to reaffirm your love for each other!!I think your wife will love it :)

We had originally planned to do a vow renewal for our 10th anniversary, but for a number of reasons, this was postponed a few times. We just celebrated our 13th anniversary last weekend and our vow renewal is booked for October.
