irs refund status check question

I checked my refund status on line and it says they are processing my return and if there are no mistakes I will get it by march 23. Anyone else get this message? In the past when I have checked it just gave me the date it would be mailed, so I am curious, thanks!

my message just changed, at first it said I would have it by a certain date if there were no mistakes, now today it says scheduled to be DD on x date. so keep checking it

Mine changed from being 2/26, when I 1st submitted over the weekend, to now saying March 2nd -- assuming no errors are found.

Mine said that and last Wednesday it said scheduled to be deposited on 12 Feb...and it was! $1000 of it already gone, but had LOTS of bills to catch up on.
You must have a check coming instead of direct deposit, because mine only took 2 weeks to be deposited.

Ours just changed today. It did say that it was to early and check back later, but it now says:

Refund Status Results
Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on February 22, 2010. If your refund is not credited to your account by February 27, 2010, check with your bank to find out if it has been received. Please wait until February 27, 2010 before you contact us again because we are unable to take any action until then.

Usually when they say it's being deposited on that Monday, we usually have it by the previous Friday.

Has anyone had to mail their return in? How long did that take for you? I mailed mine in around the 20th of January and still no word. I know they say 6 to 8 weeks but I'm curious if anyone heard back sooner??

I just checked ours. We filed last week (Thursday), the Federal site says if no errors are found we will have our refund by March 2nd. I just checked and our state refund in in our bank account already (deposited yesterday).

Did you do direct deposit? This sounds like the response we received.

I efiled on Thursday morning. Have already received the state refund and the federal will be in the account in the morning.

Mine has changed again and now reads ---Your tax refund is scheduled to be direct deposited on February 23, 2010...

Who Hoo....hope its right and doesnt get changed back to March.
