IRS refund cycle

No, I did my taxes on Turbo Tax and e-filed through them. They said the IRS isn't "officially" accepting any returns until January 17th.

That what my place said as well but my taxes have already been accepted I'm scheulded to get my refund on the 25 yippee

For us we can not file until after the 17th because we need the forms for Mortgage interest credit as well as education credit which are not released by the IRS until the 17th. I use H&R Block online and it says the IRS is not accepting any returns until 1/17

Wow, I'm surprised by how many people have filed...We haven't even received our W2 forms yet! Usually don't get them until around Feb. 1st.

WE go through a company that called Tax Brain and that what they said as well, but it came back accepted, They said that the IRS did a test run on a few returns we were lucky enough to get choosen lol

Did you get your refund today? The IRS first said I would have it on 2/1 and then changed to 2/7.

My refund went from being posted on Friday 2/3 to Tuesday 2/7. Who knew the IRS made deposits on a Tuesday. My guess it is an extra few days to give the bank a couple days to post??? Anybody have any idea why that would happen?
