I have been to the Allstar Movie and sports before; but never needed an iron and board, nor a hair dryer, so I don;t recall, do they have an ironing board and blowdryer? :confused3

What about the beds, I have a King for accessable room, what is the comfort in the doubles for someone with sever back and shoulder problems?

TIA, :laundy:

Yes the All STars have ironing boards&irons and blow dryers. As for the comfort level of the beds. I have found the king beds at the value resorts to be very hard. If you like that, you are in luck. I have found the double beds to be more comfortable than the king bed. Of course that was in Feb 07, so maybe they have updated the beds.

Thank you so much!
My older son's family is going in connecting rooms to our King and he made he snob staement "Is this like a motel 6?"

I could have knocked him upside the head. But, his comparrison is a week at the Polynisian 12 years ago.

I thought I recalled the amenities; although no coffee pot, so I am taking one.
The King bed I slept like a baby, so I am sure if the double is softer he can't complain. I told him to pack his bed topper...

It certainly is not in the budget to upgrade to Delux.
But, thanks so much to help me out. 2 weeks tonight!

I have a bad back myself so I can understand your concern with the beds but I find the Disney beds to be very hard but for me that is not good. I can never sleep in the Disney beds.

The only beds I have EVER been able to sleep in is the "heavenly beds" at the Swan. They are truly very comfortable and I can get a good night's sleep in that bed.:cloud9:

DH and DS are there now having a great time. They just arrived yesterday. DH is there for a convention which starts on Monday so DS went and are enjoying the F&W Festival and will be going to MNSSHP party on Tuesday. They were going to go last night but the constantly showering of rain deterred them.

Have great trip:thumbsup2

I was at ASMu for a week in September. There was an iron, ironing board and hair dryer in the room without me having to ask for them. Our room had two double beds which I found comfortable which surprised me because I am used to a sleep number bed.

I thought that may be a thought. When I did get a code for the Swan/Dolphin they were booked, I guess the conventions.....
I hope they are having a grand time and the weather is beautiful.

I just hope the topper is good enough for him...
Thanks for your thoughts,
He is a bit high management, and it can totally ruin our trip with him miserable.

Last week he walked away from us at a fair because the toddler wet through his pants to the stroller and "We have to leave now!" I had not eaten yet or anything. He walked away from the fair leaving us, his wife with no money and the baby crying.

I am sorry to vent this. He is extremly depressed. We lost my daughter earlier this year and he has not been able to work with his back and was in the airline industry missing his job terribly.

I was hoping for healing and new memories this trip, not misery and anxiety filled...
I know the grandson and his wife first timers would sleep on cots and have a great time!

Thanks for the response,
dianne

Just have a great time!

Definitely give the Swan and Dolphin a try, they are great hotels and being an Epcot resort we just love it!! They have discounts all the time.

DH and DS are at the BC and said it's very nice. DH can't bring himself to stay at the Swan without me.
