Iron-ons... what doesn't work...

I was hoping to learn from others mistakes..
I have done the iron-ons on all cotton shirts and they look great. I was wondering if anyone has tried other kinds of shirts and had them still work (ie.stretchy, ribbed,poly blend, etc.)

Here are a couple shirts I wanted to try but am afraid..........
One is 95% cotton 5%spandex
Another is 50%cotton 50% poly
100%cotton
100%Algodon How can it be 100% of two things and what the heck is...Algodon???
What about a ribbed cotton tank??

Algodón is Spanish for cotton. Not sure about the rest of your questions though (can't remember what types of shirts I've used for my iron ons). But I probably wouldn't try it on a ribbed shirt, I'd think it would get either stretched out and cracked or possibly fall into the ribbing (depending on how stretched the shirt is while you're ironing) and look really weird once the shirt gets the ribs back.

Any shirt that's too stretchy or ribbed will eventually mess up the design. The decals pull apart and crumble along the edges of the ribs. Also, be sure you wash and dry the shirt, before doing the iron on, to be sure it won't change shape later.

The 50/50 cotton poly works well because they tend not to stretch much or shrink!
