Okay,
So I've been trying my hand at personalizing some of the wonderful disigns I've found this week. I'm working in photoshop adding names, dates, etc. So here's my question--once you print your disign onto the transfer paper, can you trim it before you iron it on so that your image isn't surrounded by a big square of white? For instance, I downloaded a cute vintage mickey-mickey head and added my daughter's name and the date. But the whole thing is on a white background, which means when I print it onto the transfer paper, the white background will be there. So can I cut it out so that it's just the mickey head? Does this make sense? I'd like to put mickey head disigns or epcot "around the world in a day" disigns on colored shirts without there being a white block around them.
This sounds absurd as I read it back to myself! Sorry for the super-novice question--my gut tells me, "of course you can cut the disigns out, Gina, you moron!" But I figured I'd check with the experts!
Thanks, all!
