can I use the transfers for colored fabrics on a white shirt as well. The sreason I'm asking is because I'm not having good luck with the transfers for white fabric. I followed the directions to the "T" and when I peeled the backing off some of the transfer stayed on the backing. Luckily this was a trail shirt I was working on. Help please before I mess up anymore and my husband kills me for spending more money in order to save money:lmao:

Yes you can. The transfer will not be clear on the shirt like a "light" transfer is. It will be slightly off white so whatever parts do not have ink will be slightly off white on the shirt. You could cut around the design if you wanted to minimize the transfer that shows up on the white shirt. Hope that helps.

I always use dark transfers for everything (including white shirts.) I think the colors look more vibrant and they seem to be more durable. (At least the ones I've tried.) I definately recommend trimming as much as possible though--it looks the best that way.

thanks a bunch I think I'm going to stick with th etransfer for dark colors.

I agree, I use the dark transfers for everything. The pic in my siggy has the princess: princess: wearing the white tshirt with the dark transfer.

sounds like the iron either wasn't hot enough or wasn't on the design long enough! (Gotta have a hot iron and gotta iron long enough; without both of those you'll have a problem like you describe.)
