iron on question

Weird question--
Are iron-ons stiff and plastic feeling? Or are will they moveable?

My sister was wanting to know and I'm not sure! I'm sure it depends on the brand????

I did an Avery transfer for the first time last weekend. It does stiffen up the front of the shirt a little, but isn't plastic feeling - just a little stiff. It hasn't been washed yet, so it might loosen up some. I've purchased premade shirts that were much stiffer and uncomfortable.
