Iron Burns

Last week I burnt my left arm and today I have burnt my right wrist. I do think it is about time DH took over this job to stop me hurting myself

If your burn is nasty, there's some really good cream from the pharmacy - Accriflex (red tube). It is really good for cuts and grazes, but brilliant for burns. We have a log burner in our lounge and one night I had put some logs on and shut the door, but a gust of wind down the chimney made the door fly open again right onto my arm - it stuck and was VERY nasty, but was recommended this by the doctor and I won't be without a tube in the house now

You take care with that iron, it's obviously got a grudge against you - are you using it too much at the moment!

I'm handy at most things but 2 hours to iron 5 shirts drove Diane mad Honest I did not take that long on purpose.

I can only say one thing......be more careful

Having said that I did burn my hand last week taking the tea out of the oven.

Danger is always close at hand in our house
