Hi ladies, thanks for all of the compliments on my favor boxes! Now I just have to finish them!

25 days today! I am feeling so many emotions all at once now, but mostly happy and excited! DF and I have been together for so long now that I just can’t wait to be his wife!

I am also having a little bit of pre-trip depression, as I always do before heading to WDW! I am so excited to go, but a little sad because I know it is going to be over all too soon. I think this time will be ever worse with the wedding planning and hype as well. I guess I will have to plan another trip in order to remedy this!

Let’s see, I still have soooo much to do: Get our license paperwork notarized TOMORROW so I can send it away and get everything back before we leave…finish the programs…finish the favor boxes…make the candy for the favors (though I need to wait a bit longer on this so it will be nice and fresh)…pick up my dress on January 10th…ship my dress and the BM dresses to Carolyn Allen’s…where did all of the time go?!? It seems like just yesterday I had MONTHS to do all of these things!

On my way home from DF’s mom’s for Christmas, we stopped at an antique store. There was a pink star sapphire ring in one of the cases there at a decent price. My mom had a pink star sapphire ring about 15-20 years ago that she lost the stone out of. She has never found one since then that satisfied her, but I think she will love this. I am going to get it resized and give it to her on my wedding day as her gift from me. I am going to get my dad a watch and have “always your little girl” engraved on the back. I am getting teary eyed right now just thinking about it! I’m going to be an emotional wreck on my wedding day!

My dad bought my some new earrings and a bracelet from the Kristy Kelly “Belle” collection (my fav. Princess!):

great updates! i know how you are feeling. i think i am going through the same emotions. I love your new belle jewelry. I am debating getting the kristie Kelly jewelry myself. I like the giselle jewelry the best but I don't know if it would be too much for my dress. So many decisions! I can't wait to see your favors all done up. I love the boxes!

Thanks! I hadn't really looked at the KK jewelry until someone posted a thread the other day. It is all so pretty! I can't believe we are both getting so close! Everyone said it would FLY by, and they were right

Okay, a couple of minor updates:

I spoke to Rosie from WDW floral on Friday and she said the AK shoot would be fine so we will be doing that on January 23 (the day after the wedding). I don't know if the shoot starts at 7 am or 7:30. She didn't have that info and said I would recieve it with my floral BEO (which I still do not have!)! We went over a couple of other things and I feel like I am all set (just need that BEO!) I really like Rosie!

Next, DF was looking through our passporter and saw that Morocco wasn't pinpointed as one of the prime viewing locations. He then decided we should move the DP to Japan if avalible as there are now only 9 of us and he likes that venue better... I'm not sure if the max at Japan is 8 or 10? I sent an e-mail to my planner to see if it was avalible or even feasible, but she is on vacation until tomorrow, so I am hoping to hear from here then!

Ugh, my MOH is having drama with her work. They told her just a week ago she may not be able to attend the wedding without dire consequences even though she asked off for it long ago. We will find out in the next couple of days if she will make it or not, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. The good news is that no one else will be dropping out no matter what so we will still have at least eight and I am fervently hoping for nine!

DF finally picked out his clothes! He was going to rent a tux, but we decided it was silly to rent something for almost as much as you could buy for especially when we are not having a formal wdding. He got a dark navy (almost black) suit with a dark blue shirt and dark blue tie with a hint of red. He looks super handsome in it! My dad needed a new suit as well so he got a matching one. He will have a silver shirt, though, and a tie that is mostly silver with just a hint of navy.

I also got one of the BM dresses to ship. I will pick up the other on Saturday on the way back from getting my dress. The third one is altered and ready, but MOH will just bring it with her if she gets to attend!

The ceremony programs are printed, they just need to be cut out and put together, and our boxes still need all of the images and ribbion glued on them, plus I need to make the candy!

Finally, I sent in our notarized marriage license stuff, but I forgot to include copies of our driver's licences and the check! DUH! They called me today and I will send in out tomorrow AM, as I don't have a checkbook with me right now!

17 days to go!

I just recieved my final BEO with the floral/photo proposal included. I know looking at BEOs from other people helped me to make decisions, so I thought I would post here:

Basic Escape Package:
*Sea Breeze Point: Start time 12:00 PM
*Elegant Scrolls cake with white orchid: Top layer Chocolate with bavarian cream, bottom layer yellow with bavarian cream
*2 bottles sparkling cider in lieu of champagne ($.01)
*Includes all standard elements

Total Escape package (includes tax): $ 4500.01

Floral:
*Bride's Boquet: Tussy Mussy boquet in white as pictured of DFTW website (included in Escape package)
* Groom's Boutineer: White rose with white stephanotis with pearl inserts (included in Escape package)
* Bridesmaids: 3 rose wands with single white rose. Use white ribbion with silver edging and light pixie dust. Less ribbon than usual. ($25 each or $75)
* Bride's Father: Single white rose boutineer ($10)

I'm really happy with everything we ended up with for the price! If we had had a wedding here it would have been tons more costly (would have had to invite everyone and their mother) and not nearly as perfect for us! I am super excited now!
