Ireland help (website needed)

Hi. This is my first time posting over here.

My son is doing a cultural report on Ireland. He has a website that school recommended but it is not working because you need a username and password (teacher is working on this).

I'm looking for a website that will give my son basic info. on Ireland (such as houses, family life, tools (not really sure what they're looking for there). So if anyone knows of a site for him to visit please let me know. This is a back-up in case we can't get on the other website and, of course, project is due Friday

Thanks so much. They look like very good sites. I was just talking to mom up in New York. She has been to Ireland on many vacations. I was asking her "What do the houses look like? "How do they dress?" Not the best way to research a report
