Ipod Use?

So those of you who got information or used this .. how much does it cost to do an ipod setup for the music? There really won't be dancing is what we are thinking with the exception of our first dance/father daughter/mother son dances and we are wanting those to have words to them and all... We will probably just get a pianist for the most part but want to atleast use the music with words for the dances.. suggestions?

I think our iPod setup was only about $250.
We asked a person to run it, but our planner was on hand and very kindly ran it for our first dance and parents' dance. That's not the norm, though. Our planner just happened to be awesome.

The price of the iPod setup varies by location. Ours only cost $250 at the Attic, but it could be more at certain places. Your Wedding Consultant can get you the price.

We also didn't have dancing - just music during brunch and songs for first dances. DH's cousin ran it - it worked really well.

I was quoted $450 for the ipod in the whitehall room. Does anyone know if the ipod is loud enough for dancing? I want to use it, but dancing is one of my fave things, and I don't want the music to be quiet.

Oh, it's plenty loud. They give you a nice big speaker.

Thanks.. I'll definitely be bringing that question down to the ps ... We are at the living see so the pianist just seems appropriate if no one is really going to be dancing..

I was quoted $650 in AAR. We are also going to only do our first dance and then dances with our parents. We're getting a CD player to play the music
