DD would like ipod touch for Christmas. Anyone know of any deals? She doesn't need the 5th generation. Looked at apples website for refrurb touched.. not n
too much savings.

Keep checking Target's website. In the past few weeks, they have had 4th gen on sale. They are currently sold out but last time, more came up for sale. We had to replace DS's and were able to get a 32GB 4th for $199. I also used a 5% pharmacy rewards coupon and 5% for using my Target debit card.

If you go in the store, there is a 5 or 10% ipod discount coupon that came out in Target's holiday ad a few weeks ago.

I suggest not getting a 4th generation Touch - new apps and app updates are likely to run only on the 5th generation now.

Target has a deal this week with a $30 gift card for a 32GB Touch 5th generation, on a price of $295. Plus there is a 10% off coupon on the Target website (but warning - it didn't scan properly for me when I used it a few weeks ago, hopefully they've fixed that, otherwise be ready to stand your ground and wait for a Manager to come take care of it). Add in 5% off with Redcard, and you are doing pretty good for a brand new, latest generation Touch.

(BTW: If by any chance you consider the 16GB 5th Generation Touch, be aware it doesn't have a rear facing camera like the 32GB/64GB ones have. Also, while 16GB is more space than I'll ever need in something like this, DD13 can blow through that amount of storage and much, much more in no time...)

I got my ds a refurbished 32GB 5th gen from Apple for $219, that is a pretty good savings. I don't know what a 4th gen goes for compared to that though.

Not sure if others have had experience with 1sale.com. I myself have never ordered from them and after doing research on the company I do not think I will. The price is great but search the reviews first. I was all set to do this deal until I read lots of reviews from different sites but maybe someone has had good experiences with them. I just wanted to give a heads up.

Early in the summer mi bought my mom the itouch. It took about 2 weeks to get it.

The 16GB 5th generation only has a front-facing camera. The 32GB/64GB models have both front and rear-facing cameras.

The front-facing camera is good for Face Time (or Skype), and "selfies".

The rear-facing camera allows you to use the Touch like a more traditional camera or video camera.

I love my iPod touch 4th generation. I reccomend it. The only downside is you can't have a flash light come out near the camera. The flashlight apps just make the screen glow. All the apps I want I can get.
