iPod Touch software update...

Did anyone notice that as of the latest software update you can download podcasts directly without syncing to your computer? Go to the DIS Unplugged list on your iTouch, scroll to the bottom and it says "Get More Episodes"; when you choose that it connects directly to iTunes and lets you download episodes over wifi. Or was this there before and I totally missed it? In any case -- it's cool!

No, this has just come up in the latest update, was pleased when I heard it, as I can download them whilst at my lectures XD

Yep, I got last weeks podcast straight on my iPhone. Great update, should have been on from the start

I am getting a Touch for Christmas so I am very excited to hear this. I usually don't get to listen just because I forget to sync.

Not being able to download podcasts directly on to my iPod was my one and only complaint with the previous software version, and now that this has been fixed, I'm convinced that the iPod Touch/iPhone is the best portable media device ever.
