ipod touch question OT

sorry OT here but there were so many touch threads before xmas that I am taking liberties.

My son got a touch and loaded all his purchased music (he thought) It shows up on the touch as well as different apps that he downloaded but his ipod will not play anything he got off his itunes account. It will play CDs that he uploaded but no purchases or downloads from apple even tho it shows that it is on the ipod..... ideas I am not real ipod schooled...

did you try to sync them again. I know some have had trouble and once they synced them to the ipod again it worked. My son got a new one for xmas and all the stuff from itunes went on it including the music. We had no problem.
