iPod Touch Interactive App toy questions =)

I had not payed much attention to the isle at both Target and TRU until recently when we decided to buy our youngest 2 children iPod touches. Anyhow I know many of the game/toys are for iPad, does anyone know for instance theres a few Monster High games that state 'Made for iPad' would it would on the iPod? Any reviews on the many iPad game/toys out there? Im considering the Nerf Lazer Tag for the kids as well =) Thanks
