ipod Touch - 8g or 32g?? Help me decide

So I have a 60g older ipod, and only have like 4mgs of music/video/etc. on there

i'm now wanting to upgrade to a Touch and will move my music on to it - but also want room for some basic apps (I say this without ever having played/used them).

So I think that 8gb would be MORE than enough for me -- but then I hear people filling their 32s up fast!

So -

if you have an 8gb - what do you have on it? Are you OK w/ the smaller size or do you wish you had the 32?

I don't know much about them other than that DS20 has one of each kind and loves the touch ones and that the 32 is on sale today on Woot for 229.99.

I would get as much as you can afford now as it will save you money down the road not needing to upgrade as fast. I think you will find that once you start downloading apps, you will use up that 8 very fast.

I have the 32 gig and it's just about right for me. My content is mostly music, just under 6000 songs. I really don't think you'd regret going with the higher capacity unit.

My opinion is go with the most you can afford. I too was on the fence about whether to get the 8g or 32g. I ended up getting the 32g and am glad I did as I have used the barnes and noble app to download a couple e-books. I know there are other e-readers like kindle and nook that are probably better but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you choose-I am sure you will love it!

Note to self: Shmily MEANS well, she really does. Don't hate her because she "forced" you to spend a mere $25 more on Woot for 32 mg than you were planning to spend at Target for 8 mg... she's doing you a FAVOR...

I was looking at the refurbished ones on the apple website - $146 for an 8gb or $258 for a 32.

On WOOT - I went and saved the $30 - so I'm anxiously awaiting my new (to me!) 32gb iTouch!

I've been downloading free apps on my iTunes account for a few days now - can't wait to see how these all work!
