After reading all the info on disboards, the easter bunny will be bringing IPOD's to our house. 
Now it is just a question of which one. I get that you can only store 250 on one or 500 on the other (looking at the nanos). Let's say that you have 250 songs loaded on the 1gb. Can you transfer 50 songs back onto the computer into itunes (keeping them until you want to load them again) and then load a different 50 songs onto the ipod?
