Hey guys, I recently got an Ipod Nano (I say recently when in fact it has been a couple of weeks ~ a total lapse in my memory meant I didn't tell you guys.. ) and I have noticed something. Whenever I try to add artwork directly to my Ipod via Itunes, it doesn't show up on the Ipod BUT it does on Itunes.

I have noticed by Apple's boards that I am not the only person with this problem; is there any way to get artwork on there without having to re-add the song again?

In ITunes 7 there's a new feature called get artwork, right click on the song you get menu, at the bottom is get missing artwork but it's a bit hit and miss!! You don't need to get the song again :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Make sure the song is named correctly Good luck :goodvibes

When you say directly to your iPod what do you mean? Are you just adding artwork in iTunes? Make sure you're not adding artwork to the songs in your iPod, but adding to your music library in iTunes.

Are you using a Mac or Windows?? Everything is s much easier on a Mac, download the artwork to ITunes using missing artwork in ITunes 7, plug in your IPod and sync your IPod using the sync feature the artwork then the should copy across!!

My eldest is going to show me how to add missing art work to songs sometime soon. I have just bought the new Nano 8 Gb Black model, I still have my mini up and running but could not resit the new Nano.

You can add art work via Itunes 7 but they don't have all the art work for every cd. My son knows how to add it so I will get back to you soon.

Use Amazon, find the album, then click on the album picture, and drag it into the bottom left corner of iTunes where album artwork is. If you are doing a whole album, once you have it on one song, you can copy and paste into the rest of the album.

I use Windows, and I sorta do it the way Boss suggests: i.e. just putting on the song half the time. If I do it via the libary, does that mean I have to re-load it back to my ipod as well?

I have done it exactly how Boss said (thanks again). When you next sync your IPod the album art will appear on your Nano.
