Ipod Nano Discounts?

Okay this certainly isn't Disney related (except the less I spend on the Ipod, the more Disney can get) but, does anyone have the direction to get the best price on the Ipod Nano 4gb? About all I see is $249 everywhere. We have a Target employee in the family that can/will get 10% off, is that my best bet from a reliable source? Thanks!

If you go to google.com and type in Ipod nano, you should see several sites that sell these items. The best price I've seen online is $229. There may be steeper discounts after Thanksgiving but because the Ipods are selling fairly well, there's little reason for retailers to offer many discounts on them.

If you buy it directly from apple and you are a student, there is a discount. Plus you can get it engraved for free. I don't recall how much of a dicount, though. Probably covers tax and or shipping.

The education discount prices for the nano are $179 for the 2GB and $229 for the 4GB. Engraving and shipping are free but they do charge tax.

The Apple store (both online and the physical stores) usually have a day after Thanksgiving sale. Maybe you can combine the student/educator discount with that sale?

You can get a Ipod Nano at Sam's the 4g one for $239 and a mini at Costco for either $189 or $199 it is a 4g as well.
