I'm saving up for an Ipod Mini but is it really worth saving up for. Will i have to spend more money buying software so i can put songs on it? are they eaisly breakable. Do i need to buy a lot of accessories to go with it? Is it worth spending my time working to buy?? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :music: ps im REALLY into music

I have an ipod and i didn't have to pay to buy the software to download music, the actual software is free. However, on iTunes (the place where you download music) each song you download costs 99 cents. You dont NEED accessories to go with it, but I got some. I got a cover for mine so it won't get scratched or anything like that and I also got this thing that you plug in to your car and you plug your ipod into it and you can play the music from your ipod on your car stereo. I would save my money to buy one because I love mine and I love music. But thats just my opinion! I got mine last Christmas and i've had no problems with it so far.

If your into music, it's worth it. Downloading iTunes is free, which has been said before. Each song is .99 cents, but .99 cents for a song is about the same as if you buy a CD really. Some of the Accesories you might need, but most of them you dont.

I have a dell pocket dj and it is a lot cheaper then an ipod. It holds 2500 songs. On Napster it allows me to pay 15 dollars a month to download as many dowloads as i want. If you purchase the dj it comes with a free month.

Yeah but what if one month you don't buy any songs. You would be paying 15 dollars for nothing.

Late.

I guess but 15 dollars isn't really that bad. One month I dowloaded like 200 songs and it only cost me 15 dollars instead of two hundred dollars

But once again, what if you don't buy that many songs?

IT at least works for me i download at least 15 songs a month to keep up with my subscripition fee. If you don't dowload that many i guess you could cancel the membership untill you use it again. Still look at in the long run 99 cents a song or 15 dollars a month that is way cheaper.

It really depends on how much you download. If you don't download that much, then the iPod is better, plus in the long run it would actually be cheaper.

IT all depends on how much you dowload. IF you are like me then you dowload a lot of music so the ipod is too expensive for me i am not rich.

i have a ZEN micro mp3 player. it was 200 dollars, but well worth it. it came with a case, and car jack, and everything else you need, plus it comes in, like, every color! its got a touch pad and lots of features. the software is easy to use, and you can just put your cds into the mp3 player. it can hold way more songs than any of the i pods, and it is way smaller and easier to use. in my opinion, it is the best mp3 player out there!! :goodvibes

my ipod mini is my life i love it so much
it is so worth it...i take it everywhere...car trips plane trips down time bed time all the time  ipod=life

I have the Pink Ipod Mini and I love it. I think it is worth the money. I use iTunes all the time. I use my ipod and iTunes more than the radio now. But, if you do get one then just remember not to keep it in the sun cuz it will mess it up pretty badly. Me and my friend were tanning outside our dorm and we brought our computers and ipods outside for music and now her ipod is really messed up, it says that it is fully charged but when she goes to play it, it only plays for like 5 mins. And mine just goes to sleep alot. But i think it is deffinately worth the money.and it comes with everything you NEED so no, you dont need to buy other things unless you really want to. (my favorite part of getting the mini is that it comes with a clip, that is included when you buy it, and its great for when i go running) When you buy the mini it comes with, a clip to like clip to your pants or something, the software, the ipod, a manual, a plug to charge it, a charger, a plug to download somgs onto the ipod from your computer, and earphones. and they sell these gift cards to buy music on the iTunes music store online.(those dont come with the ipod, you have to buy them seperate) have fun with your ipod!!!!

I saved up for my pink mini ipod, and I absolutely LOVE it. Mine came with the ipod, a clip, earphones, instructions, itunes software, and a cord to plug it in to the computer. However, I found the earphones to be WAY too big to fit my ears, so I ended up buying in-ear earphones a couple months later that had several different-sized pads. Last week I finally bought a case for it, and while it's not necessary, it sure beats using a plastic bag to store it. But I still do not have a wall adapter so I can plug my ipod in the wall to charge it. The newer ipods don't come with one. But as long as you have ready access to a computer to charge it, you should be fine. Oh, and I've barely used itunes since I've gotten my ipod. I just like being able to put all my CDs on it. It's such a relief to not have to carry a CD player and CDs anymore!

While there are other mp3 players out there, I've found ipods to be the easiest to use, especially since I'm not the greatest at computers.
