Ipod/Ipad ?

Can I upload a movie to itunes on my laptop, then transfer it to my ipad (ipod is pretty much the same thing with numerous differences)?

I have a number of movies I bought that hubby has no interest in, but I would like to watch with my earphones. The Ipad has a much better picture than sound, so would prefer to watch on that.

There are different ways, and not really legal. lol.

Not sure if you are on a mac or PC, but you have to get a program that will take off the the encryption from the DVD. Then you need a DVD ripper that will rip the video off the DVD and then convert it into a file that itunes can read.

Does an Ipad sync w/ itunes? I was thinking of getting an Ipad & I'd like to sync it w/ my itunes acct. It it sync's ok, then your movies would be there.

I'll make sure I ask this question before I buy an ipad. No sense buying it if doesn't sync....

yes, it syncs perfectly! First thing you have to do when you hook the ipad up to the computer is connect it to itunes, and everthing transfers automatically.

I was amazed at how easy and quick it was.
