As anyone used their iPod for the ceremony music in the wedding pavilion--if so how did this work out for you?

I was wondering the same thing, because i'd rather walk down the aisle to a song not performed by an organist or violinist, but I found this on the wedding website under escape brides.

Q: Will there be live or recorded music?
A: A violinist is included in the Escape wedding package. All music will be performed by the musician. (An organist and violinist are included in the Wedding Pavilion package.)

I think usually they have you burn your custom music to a CD for the WP's built-in sound system, but I'm sure they have the capability to patch in an iPod.

When I was married in January (it was a COMPLETE SURPRISE) my husband tried to have them play "Life's a Happy Song - finale" from the Muppets as the recessional and he was told they didn't have speakers. In the end we walked out to the Main Street Electrical Parade Music. It was pretty great, since that was my ringtone.

There is a sound system in the Wedding Pavilion and hundreds of couples have used it for playing recorded music at their ceremonies. It is also used to mike the officiant and the groom. I'm not sure why a CM told your groom that, unless it was a temporary technical problem.
