I have an Ipod Touch. I bought a new computer in April. Ever since I bought the new computer any time I purchase new music from Itunes and sync my Ipod some of the songs get little hiccups where they just stop playing. They load fine on the computer and play fine. I can burn CD's and they play fine also. I've noticed if I advance the song past this "hiccup" point the rest of the song sounds fine. I even downloaded a video and again it played fine on my laptop but had a "hiccup" on my Ipod. I advanced it past that spot and again it played fine. Does anyone know what might be causing this? :confused3

That's really odd. I've had several iPods (models ranging from the mini to the iPhone 3GS) and have never had that issue come up. I mean, I've had songs that had hiccups in them, but they were in the song files themselves, so they showed up everywhere.

So they play fine in iTunes and burn/play fine on CD, but not on the Touch.... I guess my first suggestion would be to try restoring the Touch (using iTunes) to "like new" condition and then try reloading your music and see if that takes care of it. If that doesn't work, I'd check the forums at ilounge.com. They've helped me with every iPod issue I've ever had, and believe me, I've had some weird ones over the years. If you don't find that the problem's already been asked about by an existing member, join and ask them in the Touch forum. They're quite nice over there and usually are really quick with answers.

Hope that helps a little, and good luck!

Thanks. I was able to get one of the songs to reload correctly. I updated the software and then re-synced my Ipod and because the song had previously deleted (although I don't really know how) it reloaded properly. I am going to try to delete the other album and reload it and see if that works. Not sure how to delete the video. I will check that bulletin board. Thanks for the tip. Trying to avoid reloading everything if possible.

Okay I think it's working correctly now. I uploaded the updates (which I hadn't previously done) and unsynced everything and resynced my Ipod. The video is now working properly and the 2 songs I was having problems with are working properly. I haven't listened to every single song since I reloaded it but so far so good. :thumbsup2
