Op, I'm glad that Apple was willing to refund you but they probably won't do it again so in addition to what you have already done, I'd delete your CC info from iTunes and just use itunes cards. If he ends up finding another game like that without your knowledge he wouldn't be able to spend more than what is on your acct.

I second this. It is issues like this that DD has an iTunes 'allowance'. You can set one up through your account. So many times DD has tried to 'buy' things and realized she didn't have enough iTunes 'money'. It is definitely helping her learn how to 'budget'.

It is also a good idea to have your itunes not linked to your credit card. Once I am out of itunes money that is it, I can't buy anything else until I put in another gift card number. I have a 5 year old that pretty much has free reign on my iphone at times so I have to be super careful.

I was going to add that I had heard about people itunes account getting hacked and that is why I originally changed my itunes setting.

I love this idea, thank you all so much! Going to go buy an Itunes card and get my cc info OFF of there!

I went through this same thing a few months ago. His charges were only $39 when I caught it on my bank statement. I emailed Apple & they promptly credited my acct. I even went as far as taking my credit card # off my Apple acct. all together just in case he or older brother figure out my password.

Oh wow, DBF and DD have to use a pw every time they buy anything. I also get all the receipts emailed but sometimes it takes a few days to get the emails. I'm so glad that Apple issued credit and you figured out how to set the restrictions. I had no idea they had an "allowance" either, that's really great to know.
