iPhone stolen by CM!

Did you see this story in today's SMH about a woman on the Disney Wonder who had her iphone stolen by a CM and the intriguing method of retrieval.

funnily enough, the one place i would have felt safe leaving valuables lying around was on board a disney cruise... maybe slightly less now.

Just make sure if you are leaving your stuff lying around, make sure you have iCloud set up... or isn't there an app that tracks where your phone is?

I'm guessing that maybe she lost her phone and he found it, and instead of doing the right thing and turning it in he has decided to keep it. So while not as bad as stealing, pretty much the same thing... If that makes sense

he'll then say he was set up, that it was a clone made by the libs/nationals/ union posing in the photos, and that he was at bible study at the time

Yes, It's the Find my iPhone app. It makes me feel really good to know that I can track my phone and iPad if they go missing. You can use it ( via any computer or any other iphone etc) to send a message and a loud alarm to your missing phone/pad, or to lock it so it can't be turned on or at a last resort to wipe all your data from it.

I love the find Iphone app - I use it to track DD all the time - (she doesnt know. )

makes me panic though when it doesnt locate.

I dont know if it would work on a cruise ship though, I dont think it can be that specific over multilevels. Although you could disable it I guess.

I shared her photos and story a few days ago on FB, so funny!

Very clever of her and an awesome way to get her phone back and to dob in the person who stole it. Disney couldn't really not take notice either with the evidence going viral world wide.
