iPhone question...I know you guys will know :)

I am finally getting my new iPhone 4, but I am wondering if my old iPhone 3 (not 3G) will be able to play movies if I leave some on there?

I know I won't be able to update the movies or anything - but I want to use it for entertainment at the parks for a younger child and wanted to fill it up with movies...but would he be able to play them?

What about the games on the phone? Will they still work?

Your Old Iphone will become an equivalent to an Ipod Touch. You can continue to sync it with Itunes and use it you always did. I've done this with my old 3G for my daughter.

so basically the phone won't work...and it won't be able to connect to You Tube or anything like that...but it could work as an iPod...right?

As a an iTouch, it is everything except a phone. If you can get a wifi connection, you can get YouTube.

Yep, this is actually exactly what I did! I couldn't bear to part with it so I use it as an iTouch!

Me too. Updated last month to 3GS from the old original iPhone and now I let my DS use it like a touch.
