iPhone Problem

Hi All,

I woke up this morning to discover my alarm never went off because my iPhone was completely dead. It showed me a full charge before I went to sleep. Has anyone noticed a difference in their battery life? I am not sure if it was because I recently synced and there is an issue with an update or if it was because of push notification being on for a new app I have. I remember a few months back I had synced and later found out an update caused the battery to drain. I had to resync to get the fix for it. Any thoughts?

My iPhone once showed the battery as full then just died as the icon must have been "lying", if you know what I mean.
Not heard of any other similar problems tho

So you downloaded an app that knows when you need to sleep in?

I would lay the blame on push. Push drains a battery quicker than I can down a Starbucks Venti Sumatra.

did you leave an app open when you locked it? Meaning, it's always best to first press the home button, then the lock/power button. Sometime the app could still be running. This is rare though. More than likely it's push or location services

I agree with JCB. Check some of your settings. If you have that push on it can really drain. Also was the back of the phone warm?

Hubby and I have both had to get new phones (they were under warranty) because the batteries were bad and kept draining.

Reboot occaisionally, when I feel the battery is draining faster than usual, a good reboot usually does the trick.
