Hello photography board - I posted this on the trip report board but though I'd share this here as well.
I shot this family video with an iPhone 5s using Instagram's Hyperlapse app. Hyperlapse is free and pretty amazing. Intended as a "motion time lapse" app, the side benefit is how well it stabilizes video in real-time.
I fully expect that all video cameras will eventually have motion sensors and in-camera stabilization soon - relying on the real-time mathematics of the motion to stabilize in-camera as opposed to post-stabilization that relies on pixel matching. IMO, this is groundbreaking stuff that will nearly obsolete sliders, gliders, rigs, etc.
